Ponte Blawbrug / Blawbrug Bridge

 

A cidade de Amesterdão é mundialmente conhecida pelos seus belos canais e pontes. Um dos exemplos mais impressionantes é a ponte Blawbrug e os canais que a circundam no bairro histórico de Jordaan.

A Ponte Blauwbrug é uma ponte histórica em Amesterdão, construída em 1883 por Bastiaan de Greef e Willem Springer. A ponte é feita de pedra e atravessa o rio Amstel, conectando a área de Rembrandtplein com a área de Waterlooplein.

O nome da ponte não vem da cor da ponte, mas sim da ponte de madeira pintada de azul que existia no local anteriormente.
